 High-Strength Material Foundation

Typically made of Q235B/Q355B low-alloy high-strength steel (compliant with GB/T 706-2016/GB/T 1591-2018), it delivers:

  • Excellent load-bearing capacity: Q235B has a yield strength ≥235 MPa and tensile strength 375-500 MPa; Q355B offers yield strength ≥355 MPa and tensile strength 470-630 MPa. This enables it to bear static loads (e.g., beam bridge deck weights, transmission tower self-weight) and dynamic loads (e.g., vehicle impact on bridges, wind-induced vibration on towers).

  • Superior ductility & fatigue resistance: Elongation ≥21% (Q235B) and ≥22% (Q355B) allow elastic deformation under sudden loads (e.g., earthquakes, strong winds) without brittle fracture. For transmission towers (exposed to cyclic wind loads year-round) and beam bridges (subject to repeated vehicle passes), this fatigue resistance prevents crack propagation and extends service life to 30-50 years.

  • Weather & corrosion compatibility: When paired with anti-corrosion treatments (see Section III), Q235B/Q355B angle steel resists humidity, industrial fumes (for urban bridges), and salt spray (for coastal transmission towers).

Beam bridge structural steel

  • Distributes stress evenly: The two legs of the angle steel (e.g., 50×50×5mm, 100×100×10mm) act as dual load paths, transferring vertical/horizontal forces to the foundation or main structure. For example, in beam bridges, angle steel used as "beam web reinforcement" distributes bending stress from the deck to the main beam, avoiding localized overloading.
